How it works

How to track leads on your WordPress site

About ten minutes from install to your first tracked lead. No Google Analytics setup.

  1. 1

    Install Lead Ledger

Install from Plugins → Add New, or upload the zip. Activate the plugin — you’ll land in the 3-step setup wizard.

  2. 2

    Choose your business type

Pick HVAC, plumbing, roofing, dental, legal, or another local service so defaults match how you work.

  3. 3

    Connect your forms

Choose up to 3 Contact Form 7, WPForms, or Fluent Forms forms on the free plan. Optionally add the native [lead_ledger_form] shortcode. Gravity Forms unlocks with Pro.

  4. 4

    Set your alert email

Pick one email address for instant lead alerts. Enable the Monday weekly digest so you stay informed without logging in.

  5. 5

    Phone clicks work automatically

Any tel: link on your site is tracked when clicked. No special shortcodes required for call-click tracking — disclose it in your privacy policy.

  6. 6

    Read the dashboard

Open Lead Ledger in wp-admin to see leads this week/month, the 30-day chart, top pages, sources, and your recent lead list. Sample data appears for 24 hours if you have no real leads yet.

Page view collection is off by default. Opt in from Settings if you want leak-report data later — and disclose it in your privacy policy.

Know every lead your website generates.
